Hello my name is Dorothy Davis;  I was born and raised in a small town in East Texas where the lightening bugs would keep us mystified on those long Summer nights.  I graduated from  Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology.  I participated in behavioral studies and was fascinated  with the functions of the human mind; little did I know at the time that I would one day delve into the deepest levels the human psyche to help people who suffered from Dissociative Identity Disorder. 

My greatest expectations  have now been realized, and I am a  Certified Dissociative Identity Disorder Prayer Coach.  If you or someone you know cannot recall important childhood events, have significant gaps in your lifetime that are unaccounted for; or you hear inner voices that you perceive as part of yourself, then you are at the right place.  Schedule a “Let’s Get Acquainted” session and decide if a journey together is the right move for you!

My Heart

As a young child, I would gravitate towards the children at school that looked shy, isolated and forgotten. I did not have much to offer, but it was as if I knew that my friendship would be something beneficial.  As a college student, I volunteered to tutor children from low-income families. It was the most fulfilling experience I have ever engaged.

Later in life, while raising my own children, I took on a part-time job working for a Non-Profit organization. We were providing homework assistance for children and GED preparation classes for adults.

As I look back on my life, I see a pattern of helping others acquire a better life for themselves, and the journey continues.  It is my passion, and I believe I was born to help others journey through healing and grow into who they were destined to become.  BRIDE Ministries has given me the opportunity to go even further than befriending someone, and I am totally stoked to help more people improve their lives!

I have an Associates of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Tyler Jr. College. 

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a Psychology Minor from Stephen F. Austin State University. 

I have several Certifications related to Early Childcare and Food Handling. 

I most recently acquired a Certificate of Completion from BRIDE Ministries DID Coach Mentorship Program.
